Glenworth Valley Outdoor Adventures is a family owned and run business that has been providing outstanding outdoor adventure experiences for over 40 years. Regarded as one of the Central Coast’s leading tourist attractions, Glenworth Valley is renowned for its horse riding and variety of outdoor activities including quad biking, kayaking, abseiling, laser skirmish and camping.
The land that Glenworth Valley currently operates on was purchased in 1972 by the Lawler family who had previously had a long association with the Central Coast and it is the largest private land holding on the Central Coast with 3,000 acres of land. Glenworth Valley also holds claim to the oldest standing house on the Central Coast, built in 1832 and made out of local sandstone.
Glenworth Valley is Australia’s largest horse riding centre. It is a 3000 acre private property nestled in a valley amongst thousands of acres of National Park. The 50 kilometers of trails will take you through a wide diversity of riding environments including tall stands of eucalypts, unspoilt native Australian bush, ancient rainforests, impressive rock formations and lush green pasturelands.
An adventure on horseback at Glenworth Valley is a truly memorable experience. You’ll feel the rhythm of your horse as you enjoy a leisurely ride along 50km of our private scenic trails in spectacular surrounds. Our horse riding guided tours are suitable for riders of all abilities from nervous first timer and beginner riders to very experienced riders.
Feel the wind in your hair as you zip along our private bush trails taking in some of the Valley’s best scenery. Our quad biking adventure is one of Glenworth Valley’s most popular experiences and once you’ve experienced the thrill of it for yourself, you’ll understand why. Quad biking is some of the best fun you can have on four wheels.
Glenworth Valley provides the perfect backdrop for an adrenalin charged game of laser skirmish. Laser skirmish is a team combat simulation game similar to laser tag that is played outdoors. Laser skirmish is like a live action computer game as players shoot guns with a harmless infra-red beam, with a sensor detecting hits. This is loads of fun for all.
Our kayaking tours are perfect for those looking for a relaxing day on the water with family and friends. We specialise in offering exhilarating guided kayak trips including our popular Eco-Kayak and Wine & Seafood kayak tours.
There’s nothing quite like the surge of adrenalin you’ll feel as you descend a rock face on an awesome abseiling adventure at Glenworth Valley. Our fully qualified abseiling guides will lead you on an outdoor abseiling adventure to remember. Our wilderness property is home to two abseiling sites with a range of descents, offering both beginner and experienced abseilers an exhilarating challenge.
Our wilderness property offers an ideal location to enjoy a relaxing stay in a beautiful natural setting. We offer camping, glamping and cabin accommodation.
