The best way to describe the type of camping we offer is family friendly, bush camping in a pristine natural environment. Most of our campsites are scattered along Popran Creek in a number of large open fields. The campsites are kept in a natural state and are all unpowered. Glenworth Valley is also a working horse farm, so please do not expect all the comforts or facilities of a commercial caravan park. We do however offer hot showers, toilets, wood-fired BBQ’s and picnic tables and we offer the convenience of parking your car at your campsite. Camper trailers, caravans and motor homes are also welcome.
Please be aware our guests camp with us to enjoy the peace and quiet that the valley offers. As such, a 10pm noise curfew applies. If you are wanting to stay up all night drinking and making loud noise then Glenworth Valley is not the right place for you to camp.
Whether you’re planning a weekend away or a week-long stay at Glenworth Valley, you can bring your own camping equipment or we can organise your campsite for you. Our staff can arrange to have your campsite fully assembled for you, ready for your arrival (pre-arrangement required).
Please note dogs are NOT permitted at Glenworth Valley.
Campers are welcome to bring their own kayak with them if you wish to explore Popran Creek at their own leisure. There is no fee to bring your own kayak and launch it on our creek if you are camping or doing an activity with us. However if you are not camping or doing an activity with us the fee to bring your own kayak is $50.
