unforgettable adventures &

things to do

With a huge range of unique experiences onsite, no two days are ever the same at Glenworth Valley. And you’ll never hear the kids cry that they’re bored – it just doesn’t happen.

wilderness camping

in unspoilt nature

Glenworth Valley is not like a caravan park. Ecology and sustainability are at the heart of what we do.

To bring the joys of family-friendly bush camping to the region, our campsites are kept in a natural state and are all unpowered. Most campsites scattered along Popran Creek in large open fields, which our 200 horses also call home during times when campers are not visiting.

As such, you shouldn’t expect the grounds to be manicured or have all the comforts and facilities of a regular caravan park. A strict 10pm noise curfew is also in force at all times with onsite management.

My daughter participated in the holiday camp and absolutely loved it.She said she wants to come every day during the holidays. All the staff were incredibly friendly, and it seems to be the place with the most horses in Sydney. The horses are very well-trained. It's a wonderful place for both kids and adults.

Our family spent the whole Saturday here, to ride horse for 2 hours, then the quad bike for 1.5 hours. The staff were nice and experienced, and the adventures were wonderful for the kids to enjoy. The animal feed(3:30 pm) was entertaining and the free range horse (at 5pm) were also very impressive. There are other activities we would like to try next time. It’s close to Sydney so good for day trip or weekend.

We have been coming to Glenworth Valley for horse riding for years. It’s the perfect spot, not too far from Sydney, to enjoy a lovely ride through the bush. The team are lovely and always help us find the perfect horse for each rider. The guides always go above and beyond to cater to each rider’s ability and allow us to free-range at our own pace. I have recommended this spot to friends, family & even hosted a work function here - I would highly recommend coming to check it out if you have not already! Something for everyone.

We had a great time. Mr 12 and I used his voucher to go quad-biking, Ms 16 took a trail ride. Mum amd Mr 8 did a walk and fed some animals. All in all a great couple of hours, pricey, but great- but that is adventure activities. We were staying at Yarramalong, still 40 minutes away but not as bad as from the city. Everyone is very helpful and professional and the location is very scenic.Enough different activities so everyone in the family can find something they like. The cafe was closed, that was a bit disappointing. The quad biking was loads of fun, although too much of the time is taken up with a “safety video” which is really just a repetition of “its your fault if something goes wrong, you have been warned”. I mean we signed the waiver already. That being said they had a lot of “we had that dangerous thing happen this morning” which would suggest they need to be more careful;).The Quads were governed back pretty strictly but were still ample fun for the beginners most of us were.Ms 16 said the trail ride was nice, though I suspect a little slow for her.Lots of camping places if you want to overnight.

A-MA-ZING!!!!A massive THANK YOU to the absolute legends at reception PAIGE & NATALIE, as well as EMILY for their professionalism and friendliness from the first contact over the phone answering our questions and addressing our concerns, to the finalisation of our booking in person. It was my birthday and the whole team made sure I had the best time quad biking with my daughter.Even though a group of 5 had turned up very late for their 2pm session, Sal managed to get us organised and paired with an instructor in time for our 3.30pm session which we were super impressed by and grateful for as we had to leave at 5pm on the dot due to other commitments. And he did it all with a big smile and a relaxed attitude. Top job!!!And what an instructor Sal paired us with: the one and only Bailey!!! Super friendly, extremely professional and knowledgeable, from the safety briefing to how to operate the quads optimally, all the way to the end of our ride. Bailey took us on the most amazing and super fun trail ride and we also had plenty of time to enjoy the course. Bailey made us feel so special by providing us with such a unique and fun experience! It was an absolute treat and I will remember this birthday for a very long time!!! Thank YOU soooo much Bailey🙏🙏🙏Best activity I’ve ever booked!!! So glad I got to share it with my daughter, who now… wants to come back for her birthday!!!Thank you ALL so much for the unbelievable experience!!! It was incredible!!!Congrats as well to the team who maintains the unsealed road. It had been raining for days and we managed to get all the way to reception easily with a low to the ground car, which we would not have been able to do 20 years ago when we first came to Glenworth Valley.THANK YOU ALL SOOOO MUCH! 🔥💪🙌
