wilderness camping

in unspoilt nature

Glenworth Valley is not like a caravan park. Ecology and sustainability are at the heart of what we do.

To bring the joys of family-friendly bush camping to the region, our campsites are kept in a natural state and are all unpowered. Most campsites scattered along Popran Creek in large open fields, which our 200 horses also call home during times when campers are not visiting.

As such, you shouldn’t expect the grounds to be manicured or have all the comforts and facilities of a regular caravan park. A strict 10pm noise curfew is also in force at all times with onsite management.

Camped here for the weekend at boundary Cove campground (unpowered).Location was great, nature all around. Plenty of activities to do: kayaking, horse riding, axe throwing and more. Outhouse style toilet and showers which are cleaned daily, but still quite rough.Overall good experience.Bring your own water, bring your own firewood. Cafe and small shop at reception.

my friends and i booked quad biking and abseiling. during abseiling as a bigger girl myself i was hesitant and not that confident about using all the ropes but our instructor Dana was absolutely amazing. i smashed out all three of the abseiling courses and i had so much fun even though i had a lot of anxiety in the beginning. Dana reassured me that she’s got me and gave me good examples of how to go on the drop on the third course. the car ride up to the activity was fun too. during quad biking we saw a baby horse too that was born on the day we went which was so cute. the quad biking staff taught us very well before we went off. all staff had a funny humours and where very friendly. i highly recommend this place. we will definitely be sleeping here and doing more activities. thankyou !!

First time at Glenworth today. Took the wife horse riding and wow such an amazing landscape so peaceful. Staff where Super friendly and helpful as I was very nervous not having alot of experience on a horse. Not to far from Sydney which is great for me.
