10pm curfew & supervision
To maintain a family-friendly atmosphere our quiet hours begin at 10pm. We advise those who enjoy late night parties and playing campfire songs until the crack of dawn to consider alternative campgrounds, ensuring that our families can enjoy the tranquility of our wilderness surroundings.
Unlike other national parks and other camping areas, we have onsite supervision to help campers feel comfortable and safe, whilst ensuring harmony.
sustainable camping
in unspoilt nature
Glenworth Valley is not like a caravan park. Ecology and sustainability are at the heart of what we do.
To bring the joys of family-friendly bush camping to the region, our campsites are kept in a natural state, and most are unpowered sites, with a limited number of powered campsites available. Most campsites are scattered along Popran Creek in large open fields, which our 200 horses also call home during times when campers are not visiting. As such, you shouldn’t expect the grounds to be manicured or have all the comforts and facilities of a regular caravan park, and appreciate the beauty and ruggedness of our unspoilt wilderness.

petting farm feeding sessions
Meet Glenworth Valley’s adorable farmyard animals in our petting farm feeding sessions.
Little ones will love meeting our Scottish Highland cows, miniature goats, emus, ducks, chickens & more to pat and feed.

the running of the horses
For more than 50 years, the daily running of the horses has been a Glenworth Valley tradition.
Experiencing this spectacular display is a must-do for all visitors.
