horse riding - what to wear and bring

We recommend wearing full length pants. Jodhpurs, moleskins or jeans are ideal.
Fully enclosed footwear such as riding boots or shoes with a flat sole and small heel is best. If you don’t have these riding boots are available to hire or you can wear runners or sandshoes however they are not recommended. Sandals, thongs or large bulky shoes with a heavy tread are not permitted.
For safety reasons backpacks, handbags etc are not permitted to be worn whilst riding.
Remember to bring sunscreen, insect repellent and a brimmed hat. Sunscreen and insect repellent are available for sale.

horse riding restrictions

For safety and animal welfare, there is a maximum weight limit of 100kg.
Please be aware that our maximum weight limit may be lower than 100kgs and is subject to variation according to what horses are available for riding on the day of your visit.
We are unable to guarantee that a suitable horse will be available on the day of your visit however every effort will be made to provide you with a suitable horse.
In addition to a rider’s weight, we do also take into account a rider’s height to weight ratio, riding experience, general muscle tone and fitness when assessing whether we have a suitable horse available.

quad biking - what to wear and bring

Please ensure you wear a t-shirt (no singlets), long pants, sunglasses and enclosed shoes
It’s a good idea to wear clothes that you don’t mind getting dusty or to bring a change of clothes just in case. Coveralls and bandanas may be purchased on the day if you wish
Please wear enclosed shoes. No thongs or slip on shoes are permitted
Bring your wet weather gear if the weather is a bit uncertain
Wear warm clothes during the winter months. Gloves are also recommended during the winter months

quad biking minimum participants

Please note that a minimum of 2 participants is required for a tour to proceed.
However if your group has fewer participants than this we are normally able to operate by combining a number of smaller groups into the tour.

quad biking pre-authorisation

In line with our terms & conditions, quad bike group bookings for 6 or more guests are required to provide a $500 pre-authorisation prior to arrival. This pre-authorisation will be released by your financial institution within 7 business days less any damage or expenses that may occur.
For some bookings, such as those made via a third-party provider, a Glenworth Valley consultant will contact you directly to obtain credit card details.

Horse Riding & Quad Biking Package
