Sunday 25th January 2014 07:30am - 08:45am
Escape from the breakfast ‘rush-hour’ at your camp site and experience 1 hour 15mins of beautiful Sunrise Yoga in the tranquil surrounds of Glenworth Valley.
Nestled next to the creek and away from the main camping areas your morning will start with a 10-15 minute bush walk accompanied by your instructor and fellow students – the perfect way to calm your mind and explore a part of the Valley not normally open to walkers.
RECONNECT IN THE STILLNESS AND FLOWS OF NATURE
Once arrived, you will begin a balanced sequence of asana (yoga poses), a focus on the breath and inward reflection to help quieten the mind. The yoga practise reduces physical and emotional stress and enables the body to function more effectively so you will experience increased energy levels, stronger immunity and a deep sense of well being. We finish each class with a short guided meditation and relaxation leaving the mind and body quiet, calm and revitalised, ready for the day ahead.
Sunrise yoga is suitable for everyone and offers a general level practice. It’s ideal for beginners wanting to try yoga for the first time, or those who frequent or are returning to the mat.
